HPM provides a complete selection of brake rotors and drums, covering over 99% of cars, SUVs, and light/medium duty trucks. The style includes high carbon, coated, painted, standard, composite, and drilled / slotted varieties. Additionally, HPM can produce and supply heavy-duty truck and high performance rotors.
HPM Brakes offer 90% global vehicle coverage with over 2500 part numbers and accessories. Our advanced formulations provide superior stopping power with high temperature fade resistance, stable stopping power, and low dust. They also feature innovative slots and chamfers to reduce noise and longer pad and rotor life.
Carbon-fiber ceramic brake, reinforced with carbon fiber and silicon carbide, weigh 50% less than traditional cast iron disks, with better braking response, fading stability, thermal, corrosion wear resistance, and prevention of brake dust.
Composite bearings provide maintenance-free self lubrication, design flexibility, and durability, with a low coefficient of friction and high bearing load capacity. These bearings also offer resistance to wear, impact fatigue, cavitation, and operate in a wide temperature range. Our engineers can assist in selecting the best fiber architecture, resin formulations, backing, and finishing for your challenging applications.
Precision manufactured bushings and journal bearings can reduce maintenance and extend life in various applications. Our proprietary bearing formulations offer low friction, longer life, and are available in various options. When designed in spherical bearings, these liners prevent corrosion and swelling in extreme humid environments.
Specially formulated composite bearings can also be used in the hydropower industry due to its high load capacity, low coefficient of friction, and long reliability.
HPM is our brand of lightweight, high strength carbon fiber-reinforced carbon (C/C, CFRC) composite shapes. It consists of a carbon or graphite matrix with very strong carbon fibers, used in many high temperature applications. They are produced through molding, pressing, and curing of pieces, followed by carbonization, graphitization, and mechanical finishing.
We also offer FR4, G10, and G11 epoxy glass fiber laminates made of alkali-free glass fiber cloth and epoxy resin. They have high mechanical strength and stable electrical performance, making them suitable for mechanical, electrical and electronic parts with high insulation structure.
Additive manufacturing (AM) complements composites technology, providing a more efficient and faster way to fabricate parts. AM offers an element of strength and stiffness through fiber reinforcement, enabling the creation of parts that were previously economically unfeasible.
